Three from Springdale arrested in connection with drug ring

SPRINGDALE -- Drug task force members arrested three suspects Tuesday in connection with a drug distribution operation.

Daniel Lane, 23; Rebecca Long, 20; and Vaughn Long, 71, all of Springdale, were arrested in connection with several drug-related complaints, including multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

They were booked into the Washington County Detention Center without bond late Tuesday, according to jail records. They were released on bond Wednesday afternoon.

Detectives from the 4th Judicial District Drug Task Force got a warrant to search a home at 4292 E. Hewitt Springs Road in Springdale. Officers found 13 pounds of marijuana, several pills, a vacuum sealer, 14 guns and $10,820, according to a news release from Sgt. Craig Stout of the Fayetteville Police Department.

All three suspects have a Washington County Circuit Court date set for Friday.

Local jurisdictions, including members of the Fayetteville and Springdale police departments and Washington County and Madison County sheriff's offices, comprised the task force.
