Dylan Bremer, 21, was arrested last week, accused of manufacture of a controlled substance, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is free on $15,000 bond.

Bremer called police Feb. 14 to report that a burglary was taking place at his home at 814 E. Greenfield St., according to a probable-cause affidavit. Bremer saw the burglary through his security system, according to court documents.

Bremer arrived at his home before police and chased the robbers away, according to the affidavit. Bremer told police that he fired a shot at the robbers' vehicle as it sped away, according to court documents.

Rogers police arrived at Bremer's home and reported smelling marijuana. Officers found a tent and grow lights commonly used to cultivate marijuana in one of the rooms, according to reports.

Police arrested Latrell Richmond, 21, and a minor in the case. Richmond told police that he and two of his friends planned to break into Bremer's house to steal, according to the affidavit. Richmond said he knew Bremer and believed he had large amounts of marijuana, pills, cash, an AK-47 rifle and a pistol, according to court documents.

Richmond said they did not take anything from Bremer's residence, but saw several marijuana plants in a room, the affidavit states. Police watched the security video and saw the burglars take a jar of change and an Xbox video-game system, according to court documents.

Richmond was arrested on a residential-burglary charge. He is free on $10,000 bond.

Bremer told police that there were two marijuana plants in a garbage can in his garage. Bremer also gave police a small amount of marijuana from his pocket, according to the affidavit.

Police obtained a warrant and seized a digital scale, a grow tent, lights, 1.2 grams of suspected marijuana, four marijuana plants and guns, according to the affidavit.

Police also arrested Darian Shull, who lives with Bremer, on the same drug charges as Bremer. She is free on $15,000 bond.

Bremer told police that Shull, 20, had nothing to do with the marijuana, according to court documents.

Prosecutors have not filed formal charges against Bremer, Shull or Richmond.
