Ramona Quimby

The Foundation of Arts will stage Ramona Quimby, adapted by Len Jenkin from the Beverly Cleary children's classic, 7:30 p.m. Friday, 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Forum Theatre, 115 E. Monroe Ave., Jonesboro. Tickets are $10 and $12, $10 and $8 for senior citizens 60-plus, military and Arkansas State University students, $8 for children 12 and younger. Chamber recital

Violinist Trisha McGovern Freeney, a member of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and its Rockefeller Quartet, and pianist Tatiana Roitman Mann will give a recital at 3 p.m. Sunday at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 199 Barcelona Road, Hot Springs Village.

The program will include the Violin Sonata No. 5 in F major, op.24, "Spring," by Ludwig van Beethoven; Subito by Witold Lutoslawski; Three Fantastic Dances, op.5, by Dmitri Shostakovich; Much Ado About Nothing, suite from the incidental music, op.11, by Erich Korngold; and the Romanian Folk Dances by Bela Bartok.
