Creed in the park

The Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau's River Market Movies in the Park will screen Creed (PG-13, 2015) at dusk Wednesday at First Security Amphitheater in Little Rock's Riverfront Park, off President Clinton Avenue (easiest access is via Ottenheimer Plaza, on the east side of Ottenheimer Market Hall). The amphitheater opens an hour ahead of the screening. Admission is free. Moviegoers should provide their own blankets and/or chairs; families, picnics and leashed pets are welcome, but glass containers are prohibited. Prize-winning intern

Christopher Ryan Tebo Hardin, the Arkansas Repertory Theatre's 2016-17 season sound intern, is the winner of the inaugural Ann L. Pride Award, recognizing outstanding service of a Rep intern. The award, named for the late Ann L. Pride, a Blytheville native and longtime Rep supporter, includes a gift of $1,000. Hardin, a native of Lakeland, Fla., graduated in 2014 from Florida Southern College with bachelor of fine arts degrees in performance theater and technical theater with an emphasis in sound design. He hopes to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. The Rep's other 2016-17 interns: Emily P. Faith, education; Isaac Krispin and Liann Nicholson, production assistants; Regan Mulrooney, costumes; and Rachel Sheets, electrics assistant.
