Fayetteville man arrested in connection with aggravated burglary

FAYETTEVILLE -- Patrick Banks Jr., 21, of 223 W. Village Lake Drive was arrested Thursday in connection with aggravated residential burglary, terroristic threatening, engaging in violent criminal activity and false imprisonment.

Police investigated a home invasion-style robbery at a Chestnut Meadows apartment June 16.

A man identified Banks as the man who threatened and hit him with a Tec 9 pistol and stole $400, according to the preliminary report.

The man said he knew Banks as "PJ" and had once ridden in his black Ford Mustang.

Banks was being held Thursday at the Washington County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
