CAMPBELL SAMPLE: Arkansas music great Glen Campbell's long goodbye continues. The 81-year-old singer, in the final stages of Alzheimer's disease, last week released the video for "Adios," the title track of his farewell album that came out June 9.
The bittersweet video features stills of Campbell and appearances by some of his kin, including his daughter, banjo player and backing vocalist Ashley Campbell, who told CMT, "My father's music has touched so many people's lives, so I hope that this video will resonate with a lot of people."

BRANDT/DOVER TAKEOVER: Little Rock's KATV, Channel 7, announced that reporter Elicia Dover and meteorologist Barry Brandt will co-host the new lifestyle show Good Afternoon Arkansas that premieres at 3 p.m. Sept. 4.
Steve Harvey, which has filled the 3 p.m. time slot, will move to 4 p.m., bumping out The Dr. Oz Show, which will no longer air on the station.
Dover comforts fans of the health-focused Oz show: "The doctor is out, but no worries. I will still provide dependable smoothie recipes."
NEWS WHO'S WHO: And speaking of TV personalities, on July 22 at the Clinton Presidential Center, four Arkansas broadcasting legends were honored at the Mid-America Emmy Awards during its first event in Little Rock.
Jim Pitcock, retired KATV news director, and Lew Short, morning news editor for Little Rock's KARK, Channel 4, were inducted into the Gold Circle (50 or more years of experience). Former KARK anchor Carolyn Long and former KATV bureau chief, documentarian and University of Arkansas journalism professor Larry Foley were inducted into the Silver Circle (25 or more years of experience).
Mid-America Emmy President Stacey Woelfel says the four "shaped the face [of] television in Arkansas for decades, bringing the news into millions of homes."
And that's no fake news.
DUGGAR HUGGER: During TLC's Counting On reunion show last week, 19-year-old Duggar daughter Joy-Anna and 23-year-old Austin Forsyth discussed getting caught engaging in shocking behavior after they first got engaged.
They hugged! Frontal hugged! Her conservative Christian clan permits only platonic side-hugs during courtship.
"We're humans, and sometimes we don't always abide perfectly by our rules," Forsyth admitted.
The two were married in Rogers in May.
POST WITH THE MOST: After he was laid off, John Lyon -- the last remaining reporter of GateHouse Media's Arkansas News Bureau -- thanked his Facebook friends with this post: "I've been moved and overwhelmed by the unexpected outpouring of support. I feel a bit like George Bailey at the end of It's a Wonderful Life, except that no one has brought me cash."
