FAYETTEVILLE -- Police identified two men injured in a shooting early Sunday morning outside the Lit Lounge a block off Dickson Street.

Police confirmed Alejandro Soto, 22, of Springdale and former Razorback football player Sebastian Tretola, 25, were shot by a man they are seeking.

The Tennessee Titans issued a statement Sunday saying Tretola was grazed by a bullet and treated and released from Washington Regional Medical Center. Tretola is a lineman with the NFL team. He played two seasons for the Razorbacks.

The incident occurred about 1:45 a.m. in a parking lot at 436 W. Watson St.

"The shooting was preceded by an altercation between two males," Sgt. Anthony Murphy said Sunday. "That altercation escalated. One of the males produced a handgun and fired shots."

Tretola was in a verbal argument with the suspected shooter, according to Monday's news release from the Fayetteville Police Department.

Soto was treated at the hospital and released, Murphy said Monday. Soto was described Sunday as a bystander.

The suspect was described as 5 feet 8 inches tall with a lean build, according to the release.
