FAYETTEVILLE -- Police identified two men injured in a shooting early Sunday morning outside the Lit Lounge a block off Dickson Street.

Police confirmed Alejandro Soto, 22, of Springdale and former Razorback football player Sebastian Tretola, 25, were shot by a man they are seeking.

The Tennessee Titans issued a statement Sunday saying Tretola was grazed by a bullet and treated and released from Washington Regional Medical Center. Tretola is a lineman with the NFL team. He played two seasons for the Razorbacks.

The incident occurred about 1:45 a.m. in a parking lot at 436 W. Watson St.

"The shooting was preceded by an altercation between two males," Sgt. Anthony Murphy said Sunday. "That altercation escalated. One of the males produced a handgun and fired shots."

Tretola was in a verbal argument with the suspected shooter, according to today's news release from the Fayetteville Police Department.

One of injured men was a bystander, Murphy said Sunday.

The suspect was described as 5-foot 8-inches tall with a lean build, according to the release.
