Exhibit on hunger to make stop in city

A traveling exhibit exploring hunger in America will visit Little Rock next weekend.

"This is Hunger," a product of the national nonprofit Mazon, has visited 22 other cities since January and is in Fayetteville through Wednesday before departing for the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock.

The 10-month, 30-city national tour aims to challenge how people view hunger in America and inspire them to take action. It is housed in a 53-foot-long semi-trailer that contains about 1,000 square feet of space when parked and expanded on both sides.

The exhibit will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 31 at the Clinton School. Admission is free.

The exhibit is a 45-minute experience for 30 guests at a time, so visitors are encouraged to register online beforehand at bit.ly/2vIVkD3.
