Fayetteville couple arrested in connection with Dickson Street beating

FAYETTEVILLE -- Police arrested a couple Wednesday in connection with a Dickson Street assault.

Lorenzo Green, 22, faces charges of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated robbery and tampering with physical evidence, according to a press release.

Kayla Rolle, 20, faces charges of accomplice to attempted first-degree murder, accomplice to aggravated robbery and tampering with physical evidence. Both are from Fayetteville.

Officers found Brandon Blake, 25, of Oklahoma badly beaten early Friday morning outside Arsaga's at the Depot. Blake was treated for severe lacerations, broken bones and brain injury at Washington Regional Medical Center.

Police said Green robbed Blake. They said Green was shown standing over Blake in a photo believed to be taken by Rolle.

Green and Rolle were arrested about 6 p.m. in Springdale. Neither were on the inmate list at the Washington County Detention Center as of 4 p.m. Thursday.

The Springdale Police Department and 4th Judicial District Drug Task Force helped in the investigation.
