Springdale police reported Wednesday morning that Mei Ka Sin, a man wanted in connection with capital murder, was arrested Tuesday night.
According to a press release, Springdale officers, along with the U.S. Marshal's service, arrested Sin at 5325 N. Oak St. Officials were executing a search warrant and made no other arrests.
A weapon was found during the search and the Department reported it believes it's the murder weapon. No details on the weapon were given, but officials did say it will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for analysis.
Sin was wanted in connection with a shooting at Chapel Ridge Apartments, 5323 N. Oak St., on Monday night.
Officers found Rwabuzisoni Daniel, 21, dead in one of the apartments with "what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds," according to a Springdale Police Department news release.
No one else was injured.
