Jim Wozniak received the Adrian L. White Municipal Leadership Award from the Arkansas Municipal League during the group’s 83rd convention held June 14-16 in Little Rock. The award is presented to municipal officials who have served with distinction and dedication to their cities and the League’s boards, councils or committees for six years. Wozniak is on the Bella Vista City Council.

Courtney M. Cook joined Highlands Oncology Group as an oncology genetic counselor and genetic services coordinator. She is the first oncology-dedicated board-certified genetic counselor in Northwest Arkansas and will see patients at the center and will serve as a resource to health care providers in the community. Cook worked as the oncology genetic counselor at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Koree Ramsey has joined the Gastroenterology Center inside Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith as a physician assistant. He will work alongside Dr. Hrair Simonian. Ramsey earned a master of science in physician assistant studies from Harding University in Searcy in December.

Gary Sams was hired by Arvest Bank as vice president and private banking adviser. Sams has 15 years of experience in the banking industry, including roles in consumer and mortgage lending, branch management and business banking. In his new role, Sams will help private banking clients by utilizing deposit, lending and investment services, among other duties.
