The Arkansas Arts Center's Art After Hours and Feed Your Mind Friday lecture series will devote several presentations to its forthcoming exhibits:
ANSEL ADAMS
• 5:30 p.m. Feb. 2: Tom Fischer, professor of photography at Savannah (Ga.) College of Art and Design, will discuss Adams' role in the development of American modernism. Lower Lobby Lecture Hall. Free for members, $10 nonmembers.
• 5:30 p.m. Feb. 9: Photography students from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will give a gallery talk on Adams. Townsend Wolfe Galleries. Free for members, $10 nonmembers.
• 5:30 p.m. Feb. 16: Joli Livaudais, professor of photography at UALR, will discuss historical photographic processes and new approaches in contemporary photography. Lower Lobby Lecture Hall. Free for members, $10 nonmembers.
• 5:30 p.m. Feb 23: Karen Haas, Lane Curator of Photographs, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, will discuss Adams' work. Lower Lobby Lecture Hall. Free for members, $10 nonmembers.

• 6 p.m. Thursday: Ann Prentice Wagner, Arkansas Arts Center curator of drawings, discusses Maril and his art, followed by a first look at the exhibition. Jeannette Edris Rockefeller and Townsend Wolfe Galleries. Free for members, $10 nonmembers.
• 12 p.m. Feb. 10: Wagner will discuss Cubism and its influence on the work of Maril. Tours begin at the Stephens Inc. Visitors Desk. Free.
