Sojas Wagle, a sophomore at Har-Ber High School in Springdale, received a score of 36 on his ACT, according to information released by the Springdale School District.

Wagle, 15, took the college entrance exam over the recent Christmas break, and the school learned of his score this week, district spokesman Rick Schaeffer said.

Wagle is the third high school student from Springdale to earn a perfect score, but the other top scorers were seniors, according to the district.

Wagle finished third in the 2015 National Geographic Bee.

This school year, he won $250,000 on the TV show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire." He donated $10,000 of his prize in equal amounts to four schools he has attended: Walker Elementary School, Tyson Middle School, Southwest Junior High School and Har-Ber.

Another $5,000 went to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and $10,000 also went to Arkansas Children's Hospital, Schaeffer said.
