Work on the new Broadway Bridge in downtown Little Rock will require closing a section of LaHarpe Boulevard for parts of the next two weeks, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
The work initially will require the closure of all westbound lanes on LaHarpe, also called Arkansas 10, between Chester Street and the intersection of East Markham Street/President Clinton Avenue and Cumberland Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from today until Friday, weather permitting.
The same schedule will be in place during the week of Jan. 9-13, except it will include both westbound and eastbound lanes, the department said.
Finally, lanes in both directions will be closed on two successive weekends, weather permitting. The section will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Jan. 9 and during the same hours from Jan. 13 until Jan. 15, the department said.
