Pea Ridge added to chamber's environs

The Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce has expanded to include Pea Ridge, the chamber and city announced.

The City Council adopted a resolution at its Tuesday meeting supporting the partnership.

The Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce rebranded to become the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce on Jan. 26. Pea Ridge Mayor Jackie Crabtree will serve as an ex-officio member of the chamber's board of directors.

The chamber will hold an informational meeting for Pea Ridge businesses to learn more about membership at 8 a.m. Friday at the Pea Ridge Library, 801 N. Curtis Ave.

Growler USA pub in Rogers state's first

Growler USA microbrew pub opened Friday at 4204 S. J.B. Hunt Drive in The District at Pinnacle Hills in Rogers. The pub marks the first Growler USA in the state and is owned by Seth and Mary McDaniel.

The pub features more than 100 draft selections from local and regional breweries including Bike Rack Brewery, Lost Forty Brewing, New Province Brewing Co. LLC, Ozark Beer Co., Black Apple Crossing and Bentonville Brewing Co.

The pub also serves beer flights, hard cider, wine, coffee and kombucha. Growler USA serves a food menu including Nitro BBQ Cheddar Burger, Chicken Fried Steak with a locally brewed, Chorizo Stout gravy and Pilsner Chicken Avocado Club.

The pub is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

First building in complex ready for lease

The new Rice Office Complex, set for completion by the end of this year, will be developed by CrossMar Investments and leased by Sage Partners.

The first of four buildings is available for lease with 71,500 square feet of office space. An additional 210,000 square feet in three buildings is planned for the office park on Interstate 49 off Central Avenue in Bentonville.

CrossMar also is developing a six-building industrial complex across from the Wal-Mart distribution center in Bentonville. Sage is leasing the second, 200,000-square-foot building, which will be completed at the end of the year.

Arvest celebrates new Springdale branch

Arvest Bank hosted a grand opening celebration Friday for its branch at 4860 Elm Springs Road in Springdale.

The branch features about 5,400 square feet of public space, four full-service, inside teller lanes and all Arvest Bank services, including consumer lending, deposit services, commercial and small-business lending, mortgage loans, mortgage servicing, wealth management and private banking services.

The branch also has four drive-thru lanes and a drive-up ATM.
