"Holly played a really good game," West Fork coach Rodney Selph said. "She was a force inside, and we're going to need her to be that down the stretch. It started with her, then we started working it outside some and hitting some shots.

"Sara Greenlee shot it well, and I thought Shannon Throgmorton played well at the point with no turnovers. It was definitely a team effort."

West Fork (26-4) never trailed and took the lead for good when Throgmorton hit two free throws snapped a 6-6 tie with 3 minutes, 1 second left in the first quarter. The Lady Tigers, however, never benefited from a big offensive run that could help them pull away from Huntsville (21-10).

Greenlee's first points came on a 3-pointer just before the first-quarter buzzer and made it a 14-8 game. West Fork enjoyed its first double-digit lead when another Greenlee 3-pointer made it 23-13, only to have Gentry Gosvener and Kayla Watkins hit a 3-pointer apiece and pull Huntsville within four.

That, however, was the closest the Lady Eagles could get. A Brooke Tedford 3-pointer gave West Fork a 26-19 halftime cushion, then Griffin scored eight of the Lady Tigers' 11 points in the third quarter and made it a 37-23 game.

"We just took a whipping," Huntsville coach Charles Berry said. "They outplayed us in every facet of the game. They outshot us, outrebounded us, outcoached us. They deserved to win that one."

Throgmorton added 10 for West Fork, which advances to a 7 p.m. semifinal game against Ozark and earns a berth in next week's Class 4A State Tournament in Nashville. Delanie Tipton had 15 to pace Huntsville.

Pottsville 67, Gravette 51

Aspen Campbell's 3-pointer snapped a 36-36 tie, and Pottsville went on to outscore Gravette 31-15 over the last 11 minutes.

Pottsville (17-11) led 47-43 to start the fourth quarter, then put the game away with an 11-0 run as a Campbell free throw made the score 62-47 with 1:45 remaining.

Skylar Campbell had 18 points and Aspen Campbell 15 for Pottsville, which plays Berryville in a 4 p.m. semifinal game today. Cally Kildow had 13 to lead Gravette (19-11), while Teagan Dixon added 11.

Boys

Huntsville 60, Dardanelle 36

Jack Eaton, Ty Bohannan and Kemon Yarbrough scored all of Huntsville's first-half points as the Eagles quickly pulled away from Dardanelle.

Huntsville (27-3) led 11-4 after one quarter and extended it to a 31-13 halftime cushion as Eaton had 13, Yarbrough had 10 and Bohannan eight. Bohannan, who finished with 10 points, hit two free throws to give the Eagles a 60-29 cushion and caused the final 2:59 to be played with a running clock.

Eaton finished with 23 for Huntsville, which plays Pottsville in an 8:30 p.m. semifinal game today, while Yarbrough added 18. Austin Nash had eight points and Demetrius Scott had seven for Dardanelle (19-10).

Subiaco Academy 52, Shiloh Christian 49

Beau O'Neal scored seven straight points to close out the first half and give Subiaco a lead it never relinquished as the Trojans held off Shiloh Christian.

The Trojans (17-12) led by as much as eight points as Allen Tayne's two free throws made it 42-34 with 5:04 remaining before the Saints made a comeback. Shiloh cut it to 48-47 on Connor Reece's bucket with 1:09 left and missed two chances to take the lead before Subiaco pulled away with free throws.

Tyler Komp had 13 points to lead Subiaco, which advances to today's 5:30 p.m. semifinal game against Pea Ridge. Reece had 17 points in the fourth quarter and finished with 24 to lead Shiloh (16-12).

Girls

Alma 46, Farmington 39

The Lady Airedales (10-14) proved it was difficult to beat any team three times in the same season with a seven-point win over Farmington on Thursday. They outscored the Lady Cardinals (21-7) in each quarter to advance to the finals of the 5A-West Conference Tournament at Greenbrier.

Alma led 7-6 at the end of the first quarter, 17-15 at halftime and 28-22 at the end of the third quarter.

Sophomore Madisyn Pense led Farmington with 19 points and junior Camryn Journagan added 16. Alma was led by junior Sierra Bailey with 19 points and senior Kailey Fagan with 13.

Farmington swept Alma during the regular season with a 42-41 win on Jan. 17 and a 58-54 overtime win on Feb. 10.
