• Sherwin Shayegan, 34, of Washington faces child-endangerment charges after Shayegan massaged a 14-year-old boy's back without the boy's permission at the Newark, N.J., airport, and gave the teen a note with money inside and a thank-you message that included "alarming content," New Jersey authorities said.

• Cody Hassler, 34, of Washington, Mo., faces burglary, stalking and theft charges after telling officers that he has an "underwear fetish" and sneaked into the home of a mother and her teenage daughter to steal a garment, police said.
• Donna Byrne, 53, was found by a Polk County, Fla., judge to be unfit to care for her horse and was ordered to undergo treatment for alcohol addiction after authorities said she rode the animal down a highway while drunk.
• Sanjiv Patankar, a New Jersey colon and rectal surgeon, had his doctor's license suspended after state officials said he reused disposable anal catheters on multiple patients.
• Sheila Harosky sued Washington Hospital in Pennsylvania, where the 45-year-old once worked, after she discovered that nude photos of her were taken while she was undergoing surgery, in what the hospital says was an extension of a practical joke Harosky participated in by putting fake intestines on her body before the surgery.
