South Fayetteville sees many benefits, some costs to homeless center

FAYETTEVILLE -- The 7 Hills Homeless Center's move to the southern part of town has done a lot of good for the area while bringing some drawbacks, members, neighbors and other city residents say.

Donation campaign

7 Hills Homeless Center is running its annual donation and fundraising campaign through the end of the year, with a particular focus on winter needs. The group hopes to raise $200,000 for its operations. Officials said they also need:

• Food

• Coats and other clothing

• Sleeping bags and tents
