Clinton Presidential Center volunteers were honored Dec. 3 at the Volunteer Gala and Awards Ceremony, held in the Center's Great Hall.
Guests enjoyed drinks and a buffet dinner before the awards ceremony. Tables for the festive event were covered with gold satin cloths and centered with holiday arrangements of red flowers and evergreens.
Shirley Montgomery and Horace Springer were named as 2017 Volunteers of the Year. Former President Bill Clinton presented them with their awards. Ann Kamps, manager of volunteer and visitor services for the William J. Clinton Foundation, presented Spirit of Center Awards to Jerry Anne Hill and Bob Garison. Bruce Lindsey and Stephanie Streett presented the Forty-Two awards given to the top 42 volunteers who've served the most hours.
