SPRINGDALE -- The Springdale Public Library is forgiving fines on all books, CDs, DVDs and other material for people younger than 18 through December.
This program will give kids and teens the chance to start the new year with a clean slate by removing fines, which may discourage young people from taking full advantage of the library's resources, according to library officials.
If an item has been lost, the child will be responsible for paying only the replacement cost.
