"He's a good football player, but we knew that coming in," Robinson Coach Todd Eskola said. "He made some good plays."

The biggest of which came on the game's final play when Burks stuffed Robinson running back Ceazar Warren on a fourth and goal at the 2.

"I just saw a gap and I shot through it," Burks said. "And there he was."

Warren's victory spoiled a comeback by the Senators (13-1), who trailed 28-7 at the start of the fourth quarter.

Robinson junior Greyson Tackett tossed three touchdown passes in the first nine minutes of the fourth quarter, including a 56-yarder to junior Mekel Kentle to tie the game at 28-28 with 3:57 remaining.

The Lumberjacks had an opportunity to win the game at the end of regulation, but sophomore Jesus Tinoco was wide left on a 37-yard field goal as time expired.

Burks carried the ball on three of Warren's overtime offensive plays, gaining 7 yards on second down to set up his 1-yard plunge.

Robinson's Warren, who led his team with 26 carries for 193 yards, carried the ball all four times during the Senators' overtime possession. His run up the middle on the final carry was met in the backfield by an untouched Burks.

"I felt like at the end we were going to win the football game," Eskola said. "There was no doubt about it. On the fourth-down play, we had a kid miss a blocking assignment. They shot an A gap and it was a good play by them."

Robinson racked up 450 yards of total offense but was guilty of 13 penalties for 123 yards, and the Lumberjacks turned two Senators turnovers into touchdowns. The Lumberjacks enjoyed a 32:08 to 15:52 advantage in time of possession.

The Lumberjacks totaled 311 yards but were held to 79 yards in the second half and overtime. Burks' touchdown runs went for 1, 1, 2 and 1 yards. Junior Keemontrae McKnight, who led Warren with 117 yards rushing on 22 carries, scored on a 21-yard run with 1:09 left before halftime.

Tackett completed 10 of 18 passes for 179 yards. Senior Nathan Page led the Senators in receiving with five receptions for 93 yards. Junior Traveon James caught a 6-yard scoring pass, and junior Noah Taylor hauled in a 4-yard touchdown.
