Work on a $78.5 million project to widen U.S. 70 in Garland and Saline counties will require lane closings on Arkansas 128 for four days beginning today, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
Crews installing a concrete pipe will require the northbound and southbound lanes to alternately be closed for a quarter-mile north from the U.S. 70/Arkansas 128 intersection from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Friday. Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work zone and flaggers will control traffic, the department said.
