SPRINGDALE -- Police arrested Sonny Lee Jones, 38, and eight others Wednesday at a house gathering.
A police officer saw Shawn Kettner, 24, of Rogers walk out of the house at 1203 Watson Ave. holding a glass pipe. Most everyone arrested was in the garage where a glass water pipe that tested positive for methamphetamine was found.
All of the participants were arrested in connection with possession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They include Ashley Beyard, 26, of Bentonville; Douglas Meyer, 44, of Morrow; Sunni Frisby, 32, of Springdale; Hannah Kleier, 27, of Springdale; Brittiany Reed, 32, of Springdale; Dylan Dodd, 26, of Springdale and Foster Bobo, 41, who owns the Watson Avenue residence.
Police found about 130 grams of meth in solution and items used to package or use drugs including five glass pipes.
"Everyone denied knowledge of the contraband," according to the report.
Kettner also was arrested in connection of tampering with physical evidence because he stomped on and broke the pipe he was holding when the officer identified himself. Bobo was also arrested in connection with maintaining a drug premises, according to the report.
All nine were booked Thursday into the Washington County Detention Center with differing bonds.
Jones was also arrested in connection with criminal use of a communication device after police searched his cellphone and found text messages arranging drug deals with several people over the couple days before the arrest. He was also found with the key to a tool box containing marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to the report. Jones was held on $50,000 bond.
