The applicants vying for the presidency at East Arkansas Community College in Forrest City so far are:

Kim Armstrong, vice president of student affairs at College of the Ouachitas in Malvern.

Janie Bailey, vice president for academic affairs at East Arkansas.

Ali Cyrus Banan, who said in his application that he is an executive vice president of education, research and medical affairs for the University of Windsor. A representative for the Windsor University School of Medicine in St. Kitts and Nevis said that last year Banan was an academic dean but that he no longer works there.

Renford Brevett, whose current employment was not listed.

Darrell Cain, vice chancellor of student affairs for Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis.

Cathie Cline, associate vice president for general studies at East Arkansas.

David Ferreira, who said in his resume that he is an assistant vice president of academic affairs at Horry Georgetown Technical College in South Carolina. The school’s website lists his title as an apprenticeship coordinator.

Richard Fleming, vice president and dean of the Frederick Campus for the College of Southern Maryland.

Glendon Forgey, former president of Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas.
