Rogers woman drowns in Florida

A Rogers woman drowned Monday while swimming in the Gulf of Mexico at Henderson Beach State Recreation Area in Florida.

The woman was identified as Nori Bracho, 70, according to a posting on the Facebook page of the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office.

Bracho was swimming with family members when she began to have difficulty. Bystanders pulled her to the shore of the recreational area in Destin, Fla., according to the Sheriff's Office.

People started CPR until first-responders arrived and Bracho was taken to a Destin hospital, but she didn't survive.
