• Silvio Berlusconi, 80, the former Italian premier, got stitches in his upper lip at a Milan clinic after he fell outside a restaurant where he was celebrating his son's birthday, according to his doctor, Alberto Zangrillo.

• Prince Harry, 32, joined thousands of rugby fans at Twickenham Stadium in London to watch the British army take on the British navy in the final match of the 100th annual Inter Services competition.

• Phan "Sandy" Phan-Gillis, a U.S. citizen from Houston who was arrested on accusations of spying while on a business trip in China in 2015, has been deported to the United States, according to her husband, Jeff Gillis.

• Angel Rodriguez, who was riding in a BMW off Wall Street in New York when it was hit by another vehicle, was arrested on charges of attempted assault and reckless endangerment after, police said, he pulled out a gun during an argument with the other driver and fired into the ground.

• Gary Wolchesky, 28, was sentenced to 46 years in prison on a conviction of sexual assault and child endangerment by manufacturing child pornography after he used the messaging service on his Xbox gaming console to solicit nude photos from four boys in three states.

• Sharon Johnson Coleman, a U.S. district judge, ruled that work on the Longmeadow Parkway in suburban Chicago can resume despite concerns that it threatens the habitat of the rusty patched bumblebee, saying opponents of the project failed to show it puts the endangered insect at risk.

• Jasper Dopman, 6, of Arlington, Mass., who found $2,000 in cash and a bank deposit slip in a bag while on a walk with his father, Erik Dopman, and handed it in to police, received an Outstanding Citizen Award from the city and gifts from the restaurant whose employee had lost the bag.

• Kelly Walker, a police officer in Waynesboro, Va., where someone has been catching cats, shaving their underbellies or legs and releasing them otherwise unharmed, said he's not sure what crime has been committed but that pet owners "would just like it to stop."
