Open Studios open

Friday at 5 p.m. is the deadline for artists to register for the City of Little Rock Arts & Culture Commission's inaugural Open Studios Little Rock, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. June 10. The event provides an opportunity for locals to meet artists, see the spaces where they work "and experience their creative processes firsthand," according to a news release.

The program is open to all visual and performing artists working within the Little Rock city limits; those who might not otherwise be able to let folks into their studios can show their work at the West Central Community Center, 8616 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock. There's no charge to participate; the commission will put together a printed guide and an online artist directory. Register and get more details online at tinyurl.com/jw8ftau.
