Oklahoma crash fatal to Arkansan

FAIRLAND, Okla. -- A 60-year-old Arkansas man died after a two-vehicle collision in northeastern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said James Greer of Siloam Springs died Friday after the motorcycle he was driving was struck by a sport utility vehicle in Ottawa County.

Troopers said the crash happened at 10:16 p.m. on Oklahoma Highway 125 about 4 miles south of Fairland when the motorcycle pulled out from a private driveway and was struck by the SUV.

Troopers said the driver of the SUV fled the scene and was suspected of being impaired from drinking alcohol.

Greer was pronounced dead at the scene.
