Jim Morriss, 80, long-time editor of The Springdale News and The Morning News of Northwest Arkansas, died this morning at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, according to his daughter Shana Clark.
Morris started his career at the newspaper in the early 1950s and retired in 2003 after more than 50 years.
Funeral services are pending with Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale.
