BENTONVILLE -- A Rogers man could face prison time if he's caught riding a motorcycle in the next five years.

Matthew Hannah, 30, agreed to the condition Thursday as part of a plea agreement. Hannah pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, which is punishable by up to six years in prison. He was arrested on the charge in December.

The plea agreement was reached by Hannah's attorney, Kevin Lammers, and Sam Martin, deputy prosecutor.

He previously was arrested twice for fleeing on his motorcycle from deputies, according to court documents.

A sheriff's deputy saw Hannah driving a red and white motorcycle in excess of 100 mph in June on Arkansas 112. He was arrested again in November in connection with felony fleeing on a motorcycle.

Martin said the unusual condition was made out of concern for the community over Hannah's operation of a motorcycle and also out of concern for Hannah.

Circuit Judge Robin Green accepted the plea deal. Hannah was sentenced to 120 days in the Benton County Jail, and he received credit for 97 days he spent in jail awaiting his trial. He must pay $1,920 in court costs. He was placed on five years state-supervised probation.

Hannah must surrender his motorcycle license to his probation officer.
