— Police in Gentry were working another truck rollover accident at the curve on Arkansas Highway 12 at Pioneer Lane in the predawn hours of Thursday.

According to police, the accident occurred about 1 a.m., Thursday, when a truck leased to Simmons Foods and driven by Curtis Garcia, 43, of Colcord, Okla., went off the roadway and overturned on the sharp curve.

The overturned Ryder truck was hauling packaged product from Simmons, and work crews had to stand by during school rush hour at the intersection before resuming unloading so the truck and trailer could be righted and towed away.

The truck and trailer had been traveling eastbound on Highway 12.

No injuries were reported in the accident. Garcia was cited by police for careless and prohibited driving.

Portions of Highway 12 and Pioneer Lane were closed during the cleanup operations.

The accident occurred at the same location of another truck rollover accident involving live chickens on Aug. 25.
