1st Quarter

ARKANSAS 7, TEXAS A&M 0

Arkansas went three and out, then Santos Ramirez knocked the ball away from Texas A&M punt returner Christian Kirk and Cody Hollister recovered at the Aggies’ 16. Two plays later, Keon Hatcher caught a 15-yard corner route touchdown pass from Austin Allen. Speedy Noil returned the kickoff 42 yards. Fueled by Keith Ford’s 27-yard run, the Aggies drove 43 yards to the 15, where Daniel LaCamera missed a 36-yard field-goal attempt wide right. A penalty and two negative plays forced an Arkansas punt. The Aggies went three and out. Jeremy Sprinkle’s 23-yard catch put Arkansas on the Aggies’ 43, but Dominique Reed lost the handle on an end around on the next play and Myles Garrett recovered.

2nd Quarter

ARKANSAS 17, TEXAS A&M 17

Williams rushed to the 1 before Armani Watts stripped the ball and recovered. De’Andre Coley’s targeting penalty on a pass from the 4 extended a series that led to Daniel LaCamera’s 48-yard field goal. Jared Cornelius’ 38-yard catch and run set up Williams’ 8-yard touchdown run. Knight led a two-minute drill, completing the 74-yard march with another keeper up the middle on third and 8 for a 48-yard score with 13 seconds left.

3rd Quarter

TEXAS A&M 24, ARKANSAS 17

Texas A&M used five plays of 12 or more yards, including two 16-yard catches by Josh Reynolds, to put Arkansas on its heels. But Trevor Knight fumbled and Dre Greenlaw recovered at the 5 for Arkansas after Santos Ramirez saved a touchdown by tackling Trayveon Williams following a 15-yard gain to the 2. The Hogs converted three third-and-long situations and were helped by two pass interference penalties. Jeremy Sprinkle’s 11-yard catch and run put it on the 2, but after three running plays failed to produce a score, Armani Watts tackled Keon Hatcher for a 5-yard loss on fourth down. Knight hit Josh Reynolds with a 92-yard touchdown pass two plays later. Devwah Whaley had three carries for 27 yards to end the quarter.

4th Quarter

TEXAS A&M 45, ARKANSAS 24

Texas A&M drove 85 yards in seven plays after an Arkansas punt. The drive was capped by Trayveon Williams’ 33-yard touchdown run. Austin Allen fumbled as he was sacked and Tyrel Dodson recovered for the Aggies at the 15. On third down and 4, Trevor Knight hit Christian Kirk with a 9-yard touchdown pass. The Razorbacks drove 92 yards in 12 plays and Allen hit Jared Cornelius with a 5-yard touchdown pass. Arkansas’ onside kick failed, and the Aggies drove 52 yards in three plays, all rushes by Williams, including a 22-yard score. The Razorbacks drove to the Aggies’ 9. On fourth down, Allen threw incomplete while being pressured by Armani Watts. Knight ran 62 yards to the Arkansas 28 and the Aggies ran out the clock.
