EJ Ball building bought for $3.1M

Specialized Real Estate Group of Fayetteville and Moses Tucker Real Estate of Little Rock purchased the EJ Ball Building in Fayetteville. Washington County property records show the sale was for $3.1 million.

The seven-story tower is adjacent to the Fayetteville Square and near the Block Street retail district, startup incubators and the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market. Commercial space will soon be available to lease.

LR title company

earns certification

On Aug. 3, WACO Title received an unqualified SSAE 16, Type II audit opinion certifying that WACO Title adheres to the American Land Title Association’s Best Practices standards. Type II certification shows a title company has the proper procedures in place over an extended time.

WACO Title has more than 180 employees, including five in-house attorneys and has clients in Arkansas and Missouri.

Lineus Medical

signs agreement

Fayetteville-based Lineus Medical completed a distribution agreement with medical supply distributor MediCore for the United States and Puerto Rico. Nashville, Tenn.-based MediCore manufactures and sells lancets and other medical devices to hospitals. MediCore secured several group purchasing organization contracts that allow the company to sell into more than 3,000 of the 5,686 hospitals in the United States.

MediCore also established agreements with major hospital distribution companies such as Owens & Minor, Cardinal and many others that allow MediCore’s products to have a significant national reach.

The Artist Evolution was awarded the 2016 Excellence in Business Award for Entrepreneurial Business by the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce during a ceremony at the Fayetteville Town Center on Sept. 14.

The Artist Evolution is a marketing agency based in Fayetteville which focuses on taking a comprehensive approach to developing all aspects of a brand. The company offers marketing services in campaign development, website creation, social media marketing, brand videos, community outreach programs, graphic design, printing, media buys and more.

The 2015 Best in Entrepreneurial Business Award was awarded to Startup Junkie Consulting, a social venture company which supports startups and small businesses from across the country.
