Trumann police are looking for a middle-aged man who they say robbed the First Delta Bank on Arkansas 463 on Wednesday afternoon.
Trumann police Sgt. Chad Mason said police are searching for a white man, believed to be in his 50s, who has sandy-gray hair and is about 5 feet 7 inches tall.
Mason said the man walked into the bank's main entrance shortly before 1 p.m. carrying a sawed-off shotgun and demanded money from a teller. Mason would not disclose the amount.
Police recovered evidence outside the bank, Mason said, but he would not disclose what officers found.
Mason said the robber wore glasses, a plaid shirt, jeans and a green hat at the time of the robbery. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information is urged to call the Trumann Police Department at (870) 483-6423.
