Riverview’s Griffin Miller ran 90 yards for a first-quarter touchdown that was the game’s only score after penalties cost the Raiders (3-5, 1-4 2-4A) later scores against Baptist Prep (0-8, 0-5).

SOUTHSIDE BATESVILLE 24, HEBER SPRINGS 20

BATESVILLE — Koby Rich threw 31 yards to Brian Allen for a touchdown, then rushed 1 yard for another to lift Southside Batesville (5-3, 3-2) over Heber Springs (4-4, 4-1). Josh Millikin scored the Southerners’ first touchdown on a 3-yard run and piled up 92 rushing yards before leaving with an injury. Mason Anderson added a 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

GOSNELL 18, POCAHONTAS 12

POCAHONTAS — Gosnell (7-1, 5-0 3-4A) held on to a 12-0 halftime advantage and outlasted a second-half rally to hand Pocahontas (6-2, 4-1) its first conference loss. Brandon Partee accounted for both of the Pirates’ first-quarter scores with 9- and 38-yard passes to Marquel McKinney. Cadarius Young’s 4-yard touchdown run in the final 1:49 broke the tie.

HIGHLAND 31, CAVE CITY 12

CAVE CITY — Quarterback Tristan Hudson accounted for five touchdowns and 353 yards of offense to lead Highland (5-3, 4-1 3-4A) over host Cave City (3-5, 1-4). Hudson completed 17 of 23 passes for 236 yards and 3 touchdowns. Hudson rushed 15 times for 117 yards, scoring on runs of 4 and 71 yards. Samuel Stowers caught two touchdown passes of 49 and 25 yards. Sowers finished with six receptions for 108 yards. Preston Gurley caught a 12-yard pass from Hudson for the other touchdown and finished with 82 yards on three receptions.

JONESBORO WESTSIDE 42, HARRISBURG 0

JONESBORO — Tyke Taylor ran for three touchdowns and David Fowler rushed 14 times for 114 yards to help Jonesboro Westside (5-3, 3-2 3-4A) defeat Harrisburg (0-8, 0-5). Taylor had 92 yards on 12 carries and the three scores. Will Yearta rushed for a touchdown and completed 5-of-7 passes for 101 yards and another touchdown. Luke Hart scored on a 30-yard run for the Warriors.

ASHDOWN 39, ARKADELPHIA 29

ASHDOWN — Tre Green scored twice in the third quarter to lead Ashdown (6-2, 4-1 7-4A) past Arkadelphia (3-5, 0-5). Ashdown took a 19-0 halftime lead before Arkadelphia scored 29 points in the third quarter.

MALVERN 56, FOUNTAIN LAKE 19

MALVERN — Malvern (4-4, 2-3 4-7A) scored on its first play from scrimmage, and the rout was on at Claude Mann Stadium. Quarterback Demias Jimerson threw five touchdowns, four in the first half, as the Leopards routed visiting Fountain Lake. Jimerson connected with Jaquez Lock for a 44-yard touchdown 15 seconds into the game. Andrew Roberson’s one-yard run pulled Fountain Lake within 7-6 before Malvern scored 35 consecutive points. Jimerson threw three touchdown passes and Lock and Devin Shaw each ran for a score. Jimerson’s 42-yard touchdwon pass to Lock made it 49-12 in the third quarter, which started the mercy rule running clock. Roberson broke free for a 60-yard score with 2:28 left in the third quarter. Malvern’s Jordan Hart scored from 1 yard out in the third quarter. Fountain Lake’s Ahman Johnson ran 6 yards for a second-quarter touchdown. Jimerson completed 10 of 16 passes for 208 yards. Fountain Lake (2-6, 2-3) totaled 176 yards.

HAMBURG 27, CROSSETT 21, OT

HAMBURG — Stetson Selby’s 8-yard touchdown run in overtime lifted Hamburg (6-2, 5-0) over Crossett (2-6, 2-3). Hamburg overcame a 21-0 halftime deficit. Selby threw a 39-yard pass to Andravyon Forrest for Hamburg’s first score. He threw two more touchdowns to EJ Holmes in the last 2:31 of regulation. Kaylon Williams scored first for Crossett on a 17-yard run as part of his 127 yards on the ground. The Eagles followed up with touchdown runs from S’Quan Duke and Kientre’ Maxie.

STAR CITY 28, PINE BLUFF DOLLARWAY 13

STAR CITY — Alek Taylor scored on a 1-yard quarterback sneak and Alex Powell ran 9 yards for another touchdown, both in the first half, to put Star City (2-6, 1-4 8-4A) on the road to its first conference victory. Jaylen Mallett added a touchdown in the third quarter and Trace Beard blocked two punts, including one in the final quarter that was returned 20 yards by Talon Grey for another touchdown against the Cardinals (1-6, 1-4).

WARREN 28, MONTICELLO 14

MONTICELLO — Quarterback Hayden Lassiter rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another to lead Warren (8-0, 5-0 8-4A) past Monticello (3-5, 2-3). After Monticello scored first, Lassiter passed to Treylon Burks for a touchdown. The conversion failed, leaving the Billies ahead 7-6 at halftime. Warren took the lead in the third quarter on runs of 1 yard and 36 yards by Lassiter. Monticello closed the gap to 21-14 by the end of the quarter. Warren put the game away early in the fourth on an 18-yard touchdown run by Dennis Daniels.

BALD KNOB 59, MARIANNA 6

BALD KNOB — Bald Knob (8-0, 5-0 2-3A) built a 50-6 halftime lead and held Marianna (2-6, 2-3) scoreless for the final three quarters to extend its unbeaten season. Deshawn Gulledge returned punts 32 and 39 yards for touchdowns and added 2 more receptions for scores. Dominic Harp ran 66 yards on 6 carries for 2 touchdowns and Clayton Collins was 3-for-3 passing for 114 yards and 3 scores. Dylan Western added field goals of 40 and 29 yards.

BARTON 44, EPISCOPAL COLLEGIATE 0

Jordan Bailey’s 14-yard touchdown run started Barton (4-4, 2-3 2-3A) on the road to a shutout against Episcopal Collegiate (1-7, 1-4) at Little Rock. Bailey’s score was followed by a 61-yard touchdown run by Devin Olloway to round out the Bears’ first quarter. Olloway added a 55-yard touchdown run in the third and caught a 21-yard Matt James pass before halftime for another. Bradly Smith added 44- and 39-yard touchdown runs for the Bears, while Devin Ezzy sprinted 20 yards for a fourth-quarter score.

CEDAR RIDGE 41, MAYFLOWER 20

NEWARK — Kyler Northcutt rushed for more than 200 yards, including a 35-yard touchdown run for Cedar Ridge (5-3, 4-1 2-3A). Daylon Gant added a 65-yard scoring run against Mayflower (4-4, 2-3).

RIVERCREST 24, NEWPORT 20

WILSON — A 65-yard touchdown run by Kentavious Robinson in the fourth quarter allowed Rivercrest (5-3, 4-1 3-3A) to hand conference leader Newport (6-2, 4-1) its first league loss. Newport led 20-17 heading into the fourth quarter, mainly on two touchdowns by Jerry Ellis. Robinson also had a touchdown run in the first quarter that, coupled with Bruce Parker’s 65-yard run, provided Rivercrest a 14-0 lead. After Newport took the lead, a field goal by Matteo Chirinos in the third quarter brought Rivercrest to within 20-17.

WALNUT RIDGE 14, PIGGOTT 13

WALNUT RIDGE — A defensive stop on a two-point conversion try with three minutes to play let Walnut Ridge (5-3, 2-3 3-3A) escape with a victory over Piggott (6-2, 3-2). Luke Harper put Walnut Ridge up 14-7 with seven minutes remaining on a 7-yard run. The two-point conversion try failed. Piggott’s Cade Harrell brought Piggott within one with a 1-yard run into the end zone, but the try for two points was denied. Piggott took the early lead in the second quarter on a 1-yard run by Trey Gossett. Bret Fuller kicked the extra point for a 7-0 advantage. Walnut Ridge came right back with Michael Bounds’ 22-yard touchdown reception. Bounds followed with a successful twopoint conversion run for an 8-7 lead.

PRESCOTT 41, BENTON HARMONY GROVE 0

PRESCOTT — Carlos Vanhook rushed for 100 yards on 12 carries for 3 touchdowns as Prescott (8-0, 5-0 5-3A) stayed undefeated against Benton Harmony Grove (4-4, 1-4). Derrick Flynn was 10 of 14 for 193 yards and threw a 36-yard touchdown pass to Kadarius Pearson. Laroderick Walker added two more touchdowns on runs of 59 and 1 yard.

FORDYCE 42, DREW CENTRAL 0

MONTICELLO — Deangelo Morris ran 15 yards for one Fordyce (7-1, 5-0) touchdown, then 35 yards for another to help build the Redbugs’ 20-0 halftime lead. Braxton Green put Fordyce on the board with a 3-yard run. Ketric Sledge threw a 52-yard touchdown pass to Dylan Rice and Krystan Mathews rushed 79 yards for one more to put Drew Central (0-8, 0-5) behind 34 points at the end of the third. Jalen Harper’s 16-yard touchdown run made the final score.

JUNCTION CITY 17, SMACKOVER 14

SMACKOVER — Hishmma Taylor’s touchdown run in the game’s last three minutes rallied Junction City (6-2, 5-0) from a 14-10 deficit. Smackover (5-3, 3-2) entered the second half with that lead, and neither team scored in the third.

CROSS COUNTY 20, EARLE 14

EARLE — Jacob Thomas scored on a quarterback sneak in the final minute to break a 14-14 tie for Cross County (7-1, 4-0 3-2A) over Earle.
