Where I live: Hillcrest neighborhood of Little Rock

Occupation: Stylist at Fringe Salon in The Heights since its opening almost 10 years ago.

My favorite space is: the den in my 90-year-old cottage.

Why: My home sits high on the corner of F and Jackson streets and is flooded with natural sunlight. I've collected art for years, mostly as gifts from my clients, and have filled the walls in my den with my collection. The pieces from my client friends are most meaningful. I'm usually just sitting with my 1-year-old Dachshund named Gaines, enjoying music, having wine with friends -- I love to entertain.

The space is so peaceful, especially on the weekends when I can hear the church bells ring from nearby Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. My den is the perfect space to relax and decompress.

Something I would change about my space: I would like to spend more time enjoying my den. With working long hours, playing tennis four to five times a week and splitting time at my partner Brent's home in west Little Rock, I cherish the time that I do get to sit, relax and reset.
