Jennifer Welch was named the 2016 Realtor of the Year by the Northwest Arkansas Board of Realtors. Welch is a sales associate at the Siloam Springs branch office of Crye-­Leike Real Estate Services. She has been a Realtor since 2005 and an executive broker since 2008. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Arkansas Realtors Association and Northwest Arkansas Board of Realtors, where she serves as the director and Multiple Listing Service committee chairperson. She is serving her third year as a zone director for the Arkansas Realtors Association.

Aubrey Pate, a senior designer with Julie Wait Designs, received a silver award in the Excellence in Design competition hosted by the South Central Chapter of American Society of Interior Design for work done on The Harvest Group corporate office in Rogers. Pate also received two bronze awards for the interior design of the Chloe Suarez bedroom remodel and the Laina Suarez bedroom remodel in Bentonville.

Julie Wait Fryauf, Julie Wait Designs senior designer and principle, won two Excellence in Design awards in the Excellence in Design competition hosted by the South Central Chapter of American Society of Interior Design. She received the bronze award in the large corporate office category for the interior design of the recently completed BNSF Logistics headquarters in Springdale. She also received the bronze award in the large residential category for the interior design of the Gary and Carol Adams residence on Beaver Lake.

Mary Ann Greenwood, Fayetteville investment adviser, was named a Fellow of the National Association of Business Economics. Greenwood founded the investment advisory firm Greenwood & Associates in 1982; the firm is now Greenwood Gearhart. Her philanthropy and business contributions to the region include involvement in the founding and growth of the annual University of Arkansas Walton College of Business Forecast Luncheon.

Ryan Lilly was promoted to vice president at BancorpSouth's Fayetteville branch where he serves as a commercial lender. Lilly joined BancorpSouth in 2013 after serving as the chief financial officer for a Benton County nonprofit agency. He serves as a board member of the Northwest Arkansas Appraisers Section.

Kelvin L. Parks joined Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville as the associate medical center director. He was associate director of the Manchester, N.H. Medical Center. Parks became an education compliance specialist with the Veterans Benefits Administration in 2006, and later joined the Veterans Health Administration as a Veterans Affairs/Department of Defense human resources coordinator. Parks is a retired U.S. Navy chief yeoman.

Dr. Sheldon Riklon joined Community Clinic Springdale Family Practice. Riklon, a Marshallese physician formerly with the University of Hawaii John Burns School of Medicine, is a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine.

Dr. Gary Berner joined Community Clinic Fayetteville Medical Clinic. Berner is a board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine and pediatrics.

Tonya Hulvey, an advanced practice registered nurse, joined Community Clinic Springdale Family Practice. Huvley is a family medicine practitioner who practiced in Springdale.

Tonya Hanle, MSN, RN, was named director of nursing for the Medical-Surgical Department at Washington Regional Medical Center. She is responsible for quality control for services, programs and direct patient care in the five nursing units that comprise the Medical-Surgical Department. Hanle has been with Washington Regional for nearly nine years, serving as nurse manager of the Total Joint Center and assistant director of the Adult Medical-Surgical/Pediatrics Unit.

Shannon Kersey of Bella Vista joined Crye-­Leike's Bella Vista branch office. She is a Realtor and affiliate broker, specializing in residential real estate with a focus on helping first-time home buyers, those relocating to Benton County and assisting in condominium and townhome purchases. Kersey is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Arkansas Realtors Association and the Northwest Arkansas Board of Realtors.

Joe Hart joined Moss Insurance Group as a sales associate. Hart holds a license in property and casualty insurance. He served 14 years in the Armed Forces as combat life support and airfield management, serving in both Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He continues serving in the Arkansas Air National Guard.
