Jacksonville police arrested a woman Sunday afternoon after finding a stolen vehicle inside her business, which police originally thought was a burglary target, according to an arrest report.

Police responded to an auto repair shop at the 800 block of South Redmond Road in Jacksonville about 9 a.m. after noticing the entrance gate on the ground, the report said.

The doors to the business were also open, so police contacted the building's owner, Carole Cromer, the report said.

Cromer told police she owned the building, but that her daughter-in-law Paula Cromer, 41, of Jacksonville owned everything inside, the report stated.

Police ran the VIN numbers on several car inside the business, and one -- a silver Chrysler 300 -- registered as stolen from North Little Rock, the report said.

Paula Cromer was charged with theft by receiving. She was released on a $2,500 bond.
