Dr. Luis Carrasco joined Community Clinic Rogers Medical Clinic. Carrasco is a bilingual, board-certified pediatrician who practiced for many years in Kentucky before moving to Springdale.

Michelle Gardner, a doctor of nursing practice, joined Community Clinic Rogers Medical Clinic. She received her doctorate in nursing from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. Gardner specializes in family practice.

Kellie Chacanaca, an advanced practice registered nurse, joined Community Clinic Rogers Medical Clinic. Chacanaca graduated from Graceland University in Independence, Mo., and is a family medicine provider.

Sarah Du Preez joined the Fayetteville Public Library as director of development. She graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2013 with a degree in psychology. She was the annual giving manager at Walton Arts Center and serves on the board of directors for the NWA Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Peter Tripp G. Estes III was recognized by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys as one of the 10 Best in Arkansas for Client Satisfaction. The list is based on client and peer nominations.

Lauren Haggard-Duff was named director of inhome caregiver training for the Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education in Springdale, part of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She received her doctorate in nursing education from Capella University in Minneapolis, her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Mo. She has 17 years of bedside-nursing experience and 12 years as a nurse educator.
