Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church was the setting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, for the marriage of Carolyn Therese Harder and Zachary Fowler Ryburn. The Rev. Kenneth Harder, cousin of the bride, officiated.

Duanna and Charles Harder of Bryant are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Jo Ann and Dewey Haynie of Mabelvale and the late Sue O'Dwyer Harder of Texarkana.

Parents of the bridegroom are Renee and Michael Ryburn of Little Rock. His grandparents are the late Sue and James Ryburn and the late Ruby and Ney Fowler, all of Benton.

The church aisle was decorated with candles and lanterns and the altar had arrangements of foliage on either side. Music was by organist Lynn Bauman and soprano Hope Sharp. Guests were greeted by Brittney Renfro and Emily Burrow. Readers were Katie Ryburn, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, and Megan Mervish, cousin of the bride.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory chapel-length lace gown with capped sleeves and crystal beaded belt. She carried a bouquet of white garden roses, spray roses and Queen Anne's lace.

Maryann Furrer of Little Rock served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jordan Abernathy of Manhattan, Kan.; Jamie Feldman of Vadnais Heights, Minn.; Alexandria Hollowell of Little Rock; Rachel Pike of Fayetteville; and Valerie Sanchirico of Cherry Hill, N.J. They wore champagne-colored gowns embellished with lace and carried garden-style bouquets of burgundy and blush garden and spray roses with hypericum berries.

Jason Ryburn of Little Rock was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Clayton Caldwell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Stanley Hastings and Ben Hollowell, both of Little Rock; Stephan Loucks of Midland, Texas; and Ian Mrak of Lafayette, Calif. Guests were seated by Justin Harder of Nashville, Tenn., brother of the bride, and Red Adkins and Chase Furrer, both of Little Rock.

A reception at Chenal Country Club was held after the ceremony. Round guest tables alternated centerpieces of tall greenery with garden-style arrangements of burgundy and blush garden roses, privet berries and red hanging amaranthus in milk glass vases collected by the bride. Rectangular tables were lined with floral garlands and candles. Music was by Tragikly White.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in English from Hendrix College in Conway. She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with honors and a master's degree in public administration and has a juris doctorate with honors from the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law. She is a lawyer for the Barber Law Firm.

The bridegroom has a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and a juris doctorate from the Bowen School of Law. He is a lawyer for the Ryburn Law Firm.

After a wedding trip to southern Colorado, the couple will live in Bryant.
