• The Arkansas Gospel Announcers Guild will present "Say Amen Arkansas 2016" at 6 p.m. Dec. 3 at Covenant of Zion Cathedral Church, 3023 W. 12th St. Featured gospel artists include Quint Ellis, Dani Phillips Porch and the Throwback Choir, Brandon Morgan and Fresh Voices, Bishop Kenneth Robinson and Chosen, Cedric Hayes and the Gloryland Choir, Golatt Links of Harmony and St. Mark Youth Choir, as well as Justin Shaw Sr., Mellotones and the Sensational Wells Brothers. CLASSES AND CONFERENCES

• Second Presbyterian Church, 600 Pleasant Valley Drive, will offer an Advent Bible study, "A Thrill of Hope: The Christmas Story in Word and Art," 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays in Second Hall through Dec. 18.
