James McCann had a first Monday night that ended an MLB record streak at his position.

McCann's throwing error in the eighth inning of the Tigers' loss at Anaheim was the first of his MLB career. It broke a streak of 139 games without an error for McCann - the most ever by a catcher in the modern era.

As a rookie, McCann broke the errorless record of 101 games last season.
