Whitney Danielle Colclough became the bride of Kourtney Kirk Andre Nichols at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 21, in Albert Pike Memorial Temple. The Rev. Charles Caradine of King Solomon Baptist Church, North Little Rock, cousin of the bridegroom, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Regina and Rick Colclough of Russellville. She is the granddaughter of Willie Bea and the late Cal Colclough and Margaret Scott, all of Little Rock.

The bridegroom is the son of Theonita Nichols and Dee and Kenny Nichols, all of Little Rock. His grandparents are Rosie Burks and the late Rosemary and Guy Hines, all also of Little Rock.

Six gold-colored pedestals held purple, ivory and green arrangements of peonies, roses, hydrangeas and dusty miller. Music was by vocalist Ileka Washington and musician Rodney Cummings.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a mermaid-style gown embellished with lace appliques and beaded embroidery.

Serving as her sister's matron of honor was Lameria Triplett. Bridesmaids were Stacy Hicks of Springdale; Ebone Colclough, cousin of the bride, and Mica Crayton, both of Nashville, Tenn.; Karisa McAlister of Russellville; Marquita Ector of Chattanooga, Tenn.; Courtney Green of Chicago; and Danielle Wormley of Atlanta. The maid of honor wore an eggplant-colored chiffon gown, while the bridesmaids' chiffon gowns were lilac. They carried bouquets of peonies, roses and hydrangeas.

Flower girl and ring bearer were JaKiah Collins of Benton, cousin of the bride, and Langsten Blocker of Sherwood.

Serving as the bridegroom's honor attendants were Shaun Nichols of Little Rock, brother of the bridegroom, and Nicole Gray of Alexander, sister of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Eddie Johnson; Durand Robinson; Kalon Colclough, cousin of the bride; Kylon Nichols, nephew of the bridegroom; and Anthony Nichols, cousin of the bridegroom, all of Little Rock; Andre Davis of Atlanta; Jon Duvall of Conway; and Breteney Jones of Las Vegas, cousin of the bridegroom.

Guests were seated by Christopher Jones, Harold Colclough and Donavon Colclough, all of Little Rock and cousins of the bride.

A reception, also at the Albert Pike, followed the ceremony. Tables covered in champagne-colored taffeta were decorated with ivory, green and purple flower arrangements in gold bowls surrounded by candles.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from Tennessee State University and is a dental hygienist.

The bridegroom is a cum laude graduate of Embry-Riddle University with a bachelor's degree in professional aeronautics. He is an airline pilot.

The couple will make their home in Little Rock after a wedding trip to New York, then the Caribbean Islands.
