Here’s how the Senate voted Monday on House Bill 1009 by Rep. Andy Davis, R-Little Rock, to increase state funding by about $50 million to match about $200 million more in federal highway funding each year over a five-year period. The legislation largely relies on a portion of surplus funds and increased state investment returns. Eighteen votes are required for approval.
