Arkansas man claims $150,000 Powerball prize

An Arkansas man has claimed a $150,000 Powerball prize.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery says Louis Miller of Winslow won the money by matching four white balls and the Powerball in Wednesday's drawing.

That combination typically pays out $50,000, but Miller also bought the Power Play option, which in Wednesday's drawing tripled all non-jackpot prizes. Miller claimed the prize Monday.

The lottery said in a statement that Miller has played the same numbers for more than 20 years, buying tickets in Missouri before Arkansas began selling them in 2009.

Miller told officials "this was his first time hitting something big," according to the statement.

The Quick-A-Way on Arkansas 62 in Lincoln sold the ticket and is eligible to receive a $1,500 bonus.

The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday when the jackpot is estimated at $116 million.
