Parents of the bride are Alfredia and Jeffrey Cooper of Redfield. She is the granddaughter of Jeanne and the Rev. Calve Cooper, also of Redfield.
The groom is the son of Jackie Govan of Scott and Ronald Dedman of Mabelvale. He is the grandson of Alice Stephenson of Tuckerman.
Arrangements of hydrangeas and calla lilies decorated the ceremony site. Music was by vocalist Zetoria Curry.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a fitted dropped-waist gown that flared to a layered organza skirt and royal-length train. Swarovski crystals embellished the sweetheart neckline and bodice. She carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas, garden roses and French tulips.
The bride's honor attendants were Shericka Buckner of Redfield, sister of the bride; LaQuilla Boyce Jones of Hot Springs, cousin of the bride; and Sylvia Lloyd of Westland, Mich. Bridesmaids were Cynthia Pace and Shedelle Davis, both of Pine Bluff, and Sabrina Flint and Dominique Wright, both of Little Rock. They wore purple chiffon gowns in different styles and carried bouquets of purple alstroemeria, lavender, hydrangeas and roses.
Flower girls were Brooklon Litzey of Sheridan, cousin of the bride, and Alandria Ward of Pine Bluff. Ring bearer was Braylon Litzey of Sheridan, cousin of the bride.
Jamar Williams of Little Rock was best man. Groomsmen were Trey Cooper of Redfield; Michael Alston of Forrest City; Jamel Alford of Memphis; Everette Litzsey of Pine Bluff; Ryan Beavers of Jonesboro; and Jaris Johnson and Demetrius Williams, both of Little Rock. Guests were seated by Cody Reynolds of Marianna.
A reception at Temple B'nai Israel's Tenenbaum Center followed the ceremony. Arrangements of hydrangeas, roses, orchids and tulips decorated guest tables.
The bride attended Arkansas State University at Jonesboro and completed the nursing program at Baptist Health College Little Rock and is a registered nurse. She is employed as a charge nurse at a long-term health facility.
The groom is a graduate of ASU with a bachelor's degree in business administration and is an inventory specialist.
The couple will make their home in Little Rock after a honeymoon in Las Vegas.
