Community leaders, choirs, dance groups and clergy come together at the river for the 28th annual Community Easter Sunrise Service, 7 a.m. Sunday at First Security Amphitheater, Riverfront Park, Little Rock. Expect Easter egg hunts to pop up all over with plenty of opportunities for children to hunt for treats. For example, Western Hills United Methodist Church, 4602 Western Hills Ave., Little Rock, hosts its hunt with a hot dog cookout, bounce house and Easter Bunny photos, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday. 3 ENGLISH FOXHOUNDS

Puppies will prance in their Easter finery at the Dog-Gone Easter Egg Hunt, 1 p.m. Saturday at Reservoir Park, Cantrell Road, Little Rock. In addition to the hunt, there will be a blessing of the animals, silent auction, games, music and an Easter Bonnet Parade. Our 42nd president steps back into the spotlight as Arkansas Repertory Theatre presents Bill Clinton Hercules at 7 p.m. today-Friday, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday. The one-man show, which takes the form of a "fantasy TED talk," stars Bob Paisley and will be performed in the Black Box Theatre at The Rep Annex, 518 Main St. An opening reception with wine and hors d'oeuvres will be held at 9 p.m. today. The Esse Purse Museum honors Carolyn McDaniel and Nancy Steele and their roles in the handmade basket purse craze of the 1960s-80s with "Caro Nan: The Women Behind the Baskets," through May 1. Time to play around with die cutters, three-axis mills and molds is running out. "How People Make Things," the feature exhibit at the Museum of Discovery, 500 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock, ends Saturday. The interactive exhibit gives visitors a hands-on lesson in how familiar childhood objects are created. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. • Little Rock and a Hard Place, an original show by The Main Thing comedy trio, ends its run at The Joint, 301 Main St., North Little Rock, this weekend. 10 EUREKA

The sky near Eureka Springs will be a riot of color during the 26th annual Eureka Springs Kite Festival at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. Visitors can supply their own kites or buy one at the festival. The refuge is seven miles south of Eureka Springs on Arkansas 23.
