Dickerson Adams joined WhyteSpyder as vice president of client relations to further develop the company’s data and content for manufacturers on Walmart.com and Samsclub.com. She has 18 years of experience in the marketing and advertising industries, working with agencies such as CJRW, Saatchi and Saatchi X and Rockfish.

Brenda Zedlitz, Economic Opportunity Agency’s director of children’s services, was appointed to the Arkansas Early Childhood Commission. She has been employed with the agency since 2009. She oversees EOA Children’s House and Head Start/Early Head Start divisions in Washington County. Zedlitz has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas, and a Master of Science in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is a member of several professional organizations and serves on the board of directors for the Rogers Public Library Foundation, the Fayetteville Adult Education Advisory Board and is a field instructor for the University of Arkansas School of Social Work.

Don McDonald of Merrill Lynch’s Fort Smith office has earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor designation awarded by the Investment Management Consultants Association. The designation recognizes individuals who completed coursework in advanced wealth management strategies and have passed a comprehensive examination. He received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia and joined Merrill Lynch in 1989.

Phil Schwartz will become the founding upper school head and academic dean for The New School starting July

  1. He is the dean of faculty and curriculum at Lake Forest Academy in Lake Forest, Ill. Schwartz has a bachelor’s degree in environmental management from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Ill., and a master’s degree in educational technology and curriculum development from Illinois Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill.

Jon Fitzgerald was promoted to outdoor sales manager of the Metro Appliances & More Springdale store. He has spent his entire career in the appliance industry and joined Metro Appliances & More as floor sales manager in 2004.

Chad McMains was promoted to floor sales manager at Metro Appliances & More in Springdale. He has worked for the company since 2013 and transferred to Springdale from Tulsa.
