Doug Willey retired all three batters he faced and the Razorbacks retired 10 straight to end the game.

Arkansas took the lead on a flurry of blunders by the Tigers. Cullen Gassaway reached on a walk and was pinch-ran for by Darien Simms.

Simms stole second and advanced to third on a throwing error. Then he scored on a wild pitch by Tanner Raiburn. The Razorbacks never put the ball in play during the inning.

Doug Willey is in to try to close the game.

Arkansas 2, Grambling 2 - Middle 8th Inning

Josh Alberius looks strong for the Razorbacks. He struck out two more in the eighth to run his strikeout total to four in two innings. He hasn't allowed a base runner and has only needed 25 pitches.

Arkansas threatened again but came up empty in the seventh inning. Tucker Pennell singled with one out and Carson Shaddy walked with two outs to give the Razorbacks two base runners, but Clark Eagan flied out to center field to end the inning.

Angel Peguero made a sliding catch in center field for Grambling. The ball dropped in no man's land and Peguero called off the Tigers' second baseman and shortstop, who were also charging.

The Razorbacks have stranded seven base runners today.

Josh Alberius worked a perfect inning out of the bullpen. He needed only 10 pitches and struck out two batters.

Grambling shortstop Wesley Drain made his second big defensive play of the game to save a run in the inning. Drain ran down a groundball in the hole between second and short, spun and threw out Austin Catron by a step to end the inning. It stranded Luke Bonfield at third for the Razorbacks.

Bonfield reached base and advanced to second on an error, and advanced to third on a wild pitch.

Larry Barraza had a two-out single against Blaine Knight, but that was all for Grambling in the inning. Knight has worked around three hits in two innings out of the bullpen.

Each team stranded a runner in the inning. Blaine Knight came out of the bullpen to pitch for the Razorbacks and gave up a pair of singles, but one runner was caught stealing by catcher Grant Koch. Koch was hit by a pitch to leadoff the bottom of the inning for the Razorbacks, but was stranded at second.

Luke Bonfield led off the bottom of the fourth with a single, but Austin Catron hit into Arkansas' second double play of the game.

Tray Bell's two-run home run tied the game for the Tigers. Bell's home run came off Weston Rogers and landed in the Arkansas bullpen beyond the left field wall. It was the first home run of the season for Bell - a Little Rock Central grad - and the Tigers' third in this series. Daniel Barnett singled to leadoff the inning for Grambling.

Carson Shaddy doubled and scored on Cullen Gassaway's sacrifice fly. Shaddy has three doubles in the past two games.

Weston Rogers continues to look strong with a pair of strikeouts in the third. The Tigers did have a base runner in the inning after Carson Shaddy committed his team-leading sixth error of the season, but Wesley Drain was stranded after stealing second base.

Michael Bernal's RBI single gave Arkansas the first run of the game, scoring Rick Nomura from second base.

The Razorbacks chased Grambling starter Caleb Nunez earlier in the inning after he walked his third and fourth batters. Grambling junior RHP Jordan White gave up the hit to Bernal, but stranded two Razorbacks.

Weston Rogers has settled in well after that leadoff single. He has retired six straight, including all three he faced in the top of the second inning. Rogers is getting the Tigers to hit a lot of groundballs.

Jake Arledge walked to leadoff the inning, but was doubled up when Carson Shaddy lined out to the shortstop Wesley Drain, who made a great leaping grab. Clark Eagan walked with two outs but Cullen Gassaway flied out to center field to end the inning.

Weston Rogers gave up a leadoff single to Wesley Drain, but retired three straight batters in the top of the first. Drain advanced to second on a sac bunt but was stranded there. Tray Bell grounded out to Rogers, who made a nice play on the ball to end the half-inning.
